This Summer: Retreats & Workshops

There are a lot of exciting things going on at Gyre Fit Studios so thought I would consolidate all the awesome workshops and retreats we have coming up this summer that you can enjoy! ☀️ WORKSHOPS


Beginner BarreConcept Workshops @ Dance House Studios, Worthing BarreConcept incorporates the precision of Pilates with the positions, moves, grace and technique of ballet. These elements fuse to form a challenging and exciting workout, which stretches and sculpts the muscles, whilst burning fat. Balance, strength, stamina, power, flexibility and motor control all improve.


Because of the dynamic nature of this workout, regardless of whether you have done barre before, ALL participants will need to attend one of the workshops first before joining a regular class. These 90mins workshops will give you an idea of what to expect in a regular class so that you can enjoy the benefits and have fun 😊 Take a peak at the video below to get a sense of the BarreConcept method.

Power Up: Pilates + Strength Training Workshops Saturday 29th June 11:00-12:00 @ Teach Me King Fu Schools, Collingwood Rd, Goring-by-Sea, Worthing BN12 6HZ

A practical workshop drawing on the principles of Pilates and how to apply them to traditional strength training exercises to elevate your workouts.


Join movement specialist Amalia for this 60 minute session where she will guide you through a series of both Pilates exercises as well as strength training exercises to help you execute your workouts with more power, focus, ease, and confidence. 


This workshop is suitable for all fitness levels. Spaces limited to 8 participants.

Retreats @ Let's Retreat, Angmering

Pilates & Holistic Massage Experience

Sunday 16th June 10:00-13:00 FULLY BOOKED Mini Retreat for Body & Mind. 


Join Pilates Instructor Amalia and Massage Therapist Jade at the gorgeous Let's Retreat yurts in the beautiful West Sussex countryside and.... 


Get reconnected with your body through Pilates. Energise and mobilise your body with gentle stretch. Unwind and relax with a mini holistic massage. 

The experience will start with a short introduction followed by a 45mins Pilates class suitable for all levels of fitness. We will have a comfort break before we go into the Stretch & Mobility class for 45mins. Both of these classes will take place in the larger yurt. From about 11.45am Jade will pop into the stretch class and will start to invite each of you for your mini holistic massage in the smaller yurt.  

To bring the experience to a close there will be a Q&A session and refreshments.  

All equipment will be provided including mats. However do feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.

Summer Glow: Pilates & Facial Fusion Retreat

Saturday 10th August 14:30-17:30


Mini Retreat for Mind, Body, and Skin.


Join Pilates Instructor Amalia and Tropic Ambassador Mel for a Pilates and facial fusion retreat and unlock your summer glow!


The retreat will start with a short introduction followed by a 45mins energising Pilates class suitable for all levels of fitness. We will have a comfort break before we go into the Stretch & Mobility class for 45mins. Both of these classes will take place in the larger yurt with Amalia.


As we begin the Stretch & Mobility class, Mel will start to invite each of you for your bespoke mini facial in the smaller yurt. After the facials have been completed, we will all come together in the larger yurt where Mel will guide us through a mini face yoga routine. 


To bring the retreat to a close there will be a Q&A session accompanied by refreshments. 


All equipment will be provided including mats. However do feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.
